Where is Ack Resort Salama Located?

We are located in a serene environment along Mombasa Road 85km from Nairobi and 5km from Salama town.

Where can I see the hotel rates? / How much is a room/night?

Our rates are calculated on a daily basis. Therefore we cannot give you a general overview of costs. But you can easily enter the arrival dates in our booking engine and our system will search the best available rates for you

Can I request a specific position of my room/suite (preferred floor etc.)?

We will do our best to meet your needs and requirements, but we cannot make any guarantees.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in is anytime between 10am and 9pm. We guarantee that all rooms are ready by 2pm. Check out time is at 10 AM. A charge of Kes 1,500 per person is applicable to any arrivals or departures outside these times.

Are there vegetarian Food?

Every restaurant provides option for Vegetarian food

We have free and secure ample parking for all our visitors and clients

How much does internet access cost?

Wi-Fi is free of charge in all guest rooms and common areas of the resort. Please request the password for free internet access when checking in the hotel.

Are all taxes included?

Yes, all taxes are included in the price of the room per night.

Do you charge for cancellations?

Yes, charges when confirmed bookings are cancelled; 30 to 15 days – 10%, 15 to 7 days – 50%, 7 to 2 days before arrival – 75%, No shows –100%. Any cancellation after stop sales has been issued will be charged 100%.

How do the shared facilities work?

Most of the shared facilities are in within the common area but for the cottages each and every cottage is self-sustaining with its own facilities.

Are the rooms quiet?

All the Cottages and the Superior block are a distance away from the common areas hence all environs are quite.

How many additional beds can you have in one room?

Most rooms can accommodate only one additional bed.

What different types of rooms are available?

There are a range of room options available at our resort to suit every budget. For details on the room types available and their features, please see the Accommodation page.

Do you have satellite television and in-house movies available?

ACK Resort Salama offers a range of local and international news and entertainment channels. We however as at now do not offer pay-per-view movies services.

Will you accept packages on my behalf before I arrive or after I depart?

While we are happy to accept packages on your behalf, please keep in mind that our storage space is incredibly limited. We will gladly accept up to 5 small or medium sized packages per guest reservation.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate larger parcels or anything exceeding 10lbs or 4.5kg. Please remember to use the name associated with your hotel reservation and also write “hotel guest” whenever possible. Packages for guests that have already departed will not be accepted.

Are there close places to eat?

Our resort is a one stop place for all your needs hence you will get affordable food in our hotel.
